Rebecca Provancher

Ms. Provancher is a licensed police officer through MCOLES in the state of Michigan. She has been in law enforcement for 20+ years. More than third of that time has been spent in the Property Room (where she is currently assigned). While in the Property section, she has implemented many new procedures. Ms. Provancher understands the challenges that others face in the property room. Ms. Provancher has served her department in different capacities including Road Patrol, Downtown Beat, Special Services, and the Detective Bureau to name a few.

Ms. Provancher has also been selected to the background investigations team. She is an instructor in firearms, Mobile Field Force and the report writing system CLEMIS. She also instructs officers in property room techniques either in annual refresher training for current officers or the in-house academy for new recruits.

Ms. Provancher holds a Bachelor's of Science Degree majoring in Criminal Justice-Law Enforcement Specialist from Ferris State University (96).
