Mike is a 28-year law enforcement veteran. He began his career with the
Los Angeles Police Department in 1987 and retired in 2015 as the
Investigative Bureau Lieutenant with the Santa Rosa Police Department in
Santa Rosa California. During his tenure with LAPD, Mike was assigned to
the prestigious OWB C.R.A.S.H. Unit and the Special Problems Unit. Mike
has a wealth of experience including special assignments as a Narcotics
Detective, Homicide Detective, Hostage Negotiator, K9 Sergeant and SWAT
Commander. Mike also supervised a DEA Task Force targeting transnational
drug trafficking organizations.
Mike has been teaching for over two decades and is a nationally recognized
instructor. He has conducted hundreds of online undercover investigations
and trained thousands of federal, state, local and international law
enforcement personnel across the United States. Mike is an Army veteran
and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from California
Coast University.
