This course is designed for the property room officers, civilians and supervisors who oversee the property section.

Property rooms have often been an afterthought or even overlooked in many police agencies. Minimal training- if any- is given to persons responsible for the monumental tasks of controlling, managing, maintaining, securing evidence and other property in an efficient manner. Property Rooms can be an area of major concern if not managed properly. The integrity of the person(s) managing the property room along with the integrity of the actual pieces of property is a necessity. This course offers basic introductory information on how to efficiently and effectively handle the property room.
